From 2018-2020 I worked in the in-house model shop at Grimshaw architects. Working in materials ranging from foam to wood and acrylic. I also worked extensively with laser cutting and 3D printing.
In 2017 I worked at Brooklyn Model Works, a full service miniature and custom fabrication shop in Brooklyn. We were working on a large model of New York City for Gulliver's Gate, a newly opened miniature world exhibition in Times Square. I curated and created graphics for billboards, street signs and other signage in the model.
The following images are of sets for various short stop motion animations that I've created. All are around 1:12 scale and are completely scratch-built.
I started making model aircraft out of paper in middle school. Since then I have created all kinds miniatures, developing all of my techniques on my own. All of my models and creations are built totally from scratch materials including paper cardboard wire and clay. I have even included lighting and electronics in my model work.
